Ardell Ridings

PATTON, Mo. -- Ardell A. Ridings, 77, of Patton died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Patton.

He was born Jan. 31, 1926, near Mayfield, Mo., son of Everett W. and Clara E. Williams Ridings. He and Viola Lincoln were married Dec. 8, 1946, at Glenallen, Mo.

Ridings was a retired farmer and pallet mill worker.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Calvin Ridings of Marble Hill, Mo.; a daughter, Thelma Norris of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Hinkle Ridings of Jackson; a granddaughter; and a stepgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Kelly Francis officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
