MARBLE HILL -- Ardean B. Buchmiller, 57, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at her home. She was born June 6, 1940, at Pocahontas, daughter of Harold and Gladys Schirmer Johnson. She and Melvin F. Buchmiller were married Oct. 12, 1968. MARBLE HILL -- Ardean B. Buchmiller, 57, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at her home.

She was born June 6, 1940, at Pocahontas, daughter of Harold and Gladys Schirmer Johnson. She and Melvin F. Buchmiller were married Oct. 12, 1968.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, David Buchmiller of Marble Hill, Douglas Buchmiller of Jackson; two daughters, Barbara Beal of Marble Hill, Leah Sitze of Glen Allen; her parents of Fenton.

Also surviving are three stepsons, Stanley Buchmiller of Seattle, Wash., Melvin Buchmiller Jr. of Belle, Donald Buchmiller of St. Louis; three stepdaughters, Donna Buchmiller of Michigan, Betty Buchmiller and Mary Layton of House Springs; two brothers, Harold Johnson Jr. of Carl Junction, Cecil Johnson of Eureka; two sisters, Harriett Carney of Maryland Heights, Adina Fulsom of Eureka; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Diana Cook officiating.
