ADVANCE -- Arcia S. Rogers, 81, of rural Advance, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Jan. 21, 1911, at Bessville, daughter of Miles F. and Mary Long Moore. She married Sylvester "Buck" Rogers Nov. 4, 1927, in Arkansas. He died Feb. 27, 1979...

ADVANCE -- Arcia S. Rogers, 81, of rural Advance, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 21, 1911, at Bessville, daughter of Miles F. and Mary Long Moore. She married Sylvester "Buck" Rogers Nov. 4, 1927, in Arkansas. He died Feb. 27, 1979.

Rogers was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church here.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorotha LeaVelle; a brother, Oscar Moore; a sister, Hazel Daniels, all of Advance; a grandson; two great-grandchildren, and a foster great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a foster son.

Funeral service is at 3 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. J.D. Smith will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
