Antonia "Toni" Schnurbusch, 73, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Apple Creek, Mo., daughter of Anton and Bertha Unterreiner Ponder. She and Harold Schnurbusch were married Sept. 7, 1953, in Apple Creek.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and its Council of Catholic Women, the quilters group at church, and Saint Francis Auxiliary. She had been a hairdresser for 36 years in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; three brothers, Norbert Ponder of Apple Creek, Robert Ponder of St. Ann, Mo., Edgar Ponder of Perryville, Mo.; a sister, Genevieve Schloss of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a nephew.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with parish prayers at 7 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Cathedral, with the Revs. Tom Kiefer and Jim Unterreiner officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Cemetery in Apple Creek.
