MORLEY, Mo. -- Anthony "Tony" Rodgers, 45, of Morley died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1964, in Chicago Heights, Ill., son of Sam Brewer and Annette Northern Rodgers. Tony was a construction worker. Survivors include a daughter, Candice Rodgers of Dexter, Mo.; his father, Sam Brewer of Chicago; maternal grandmother, Mildred Northern of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, John Rodgers of Sikeston, Mark Rodgers of Chicago; three sisters, Tonya Childs of Bertrand, Mo., Sammie Brewer of Chicago and Deanna Western of Sikeston.. ...

He was born Dec. 16, 1964, in Chicago Heights, Ill., son of Sam Brewer and Annette Northern Rodgers.

Tony was a construction worker.

Survivors include a daughter, Candice Rodgers of Dexter, Mo.; his father, Sam Brewer of Chicago; maternal grandmother, Mildred Northern of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, John Rodgers of Sikeston, Mark Rodgers of Chicago; three sisters, Tonya Childs of Bertrand, Mo., Sammie Brewer of Chicago and Deanna Western of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A church service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lion of Judah Church near Morehouse, Mo., with the Rev. Manny Alvarado officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
