EAST PRAIRIE -- Anthony George Simpkins, 27, of East Prairie, died Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, in an automobile accident on Highway 80.

He was born March 9, 1968, in St. Louis, son of Larry H. and Marg Chapple Simpkins.

Simpkins attended East Prairie High School. He was employed by Wallace People's Farms.

Survivors include his father of East Prairie; his mother, Marg Meeks of Villa Ridge, Ill.; five brothers, David and Larry Simpkins of Villa Ridge, Larry Simpkins of Cape Girardeau, Chris Simpkins of Ware, Ill., Demarcus Simpkins of East Prairie; three sisters, Carolyn and Joann Simpkins of Villa Ridge, Karisa Simpkins of Charleston, and paternal grandmother, Hattie Simpkins of East Prairie.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Edward Ballard officiating.
