CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Annie Mae Verner, 77, of Charleston died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at her home. She was born May 17, 1929, in Dixon, Tenn., daughter of Walter and Rosie Sager Walker. CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Annie Mae Verner, 77, of Charleston died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at her home.

She was born May 17, 1929, in Dixon, Tenn., daughter of Walter and Rosie Sager Walker.

Survivors include six sons, Jodie Verner of St. Louis, Johnnie Townsend of Clearlake, Calif., Henry Verner of Memphis, Tenn., John Verner of Cape Girardeau, Tim Verner of Conyers, Ga., and J.D. Verner of Lilbourn, Mo.

Also 10 daughters, Annie Murray of Jefferson City, Mo., Barbara Joeseph of Cartersville, Ga., Shirley Visor, Billie Sager, Sandra Griffin, Stepha Verner and Sara Johnson, all of Charleston, Felecia Kamara of Riverdale, Ga., Verlene Johnson and Alice Jenkins of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Linda Williamson; three stepsons, Joe Jones of St. Louis, Larry Ellison of Memphis, Roy Jackson of Los Angeles, Calif.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home.
