EAST PRAIRIE -- Annie McLain, 86, of East Prairie died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at her home after an extended illness. She was born March 23, 1909, in East Prairie to Marion and Rosella Sweet Powers. She married Floyd Edward Lloyd on March 20, 1926. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1976...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Annie McLain, 86, of East Prairie died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at her home after an extended illness.

She was born March 23, 1909, in East Prairie to Marion and Rosella Sweet Powers.

She married Floyd Edward Lloyd on March 20, 1926. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1976.

Survivors include three sons, Carol McLain, of Beulah and James and Paul McLain of East Prairie; three daughters, Rose Ann Moore of East Prairie, Patricia Erickson of Branson and Janet Salazar of Fayetteville, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home Monday with Brother Gaylon Butler and Brother Burl Britt officiating.

Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
