Precious Annie Kate Dooley, born sleeping, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at 3:48 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long with thick, dark brown hair and blue eyes, the spitting image of her momma and sister. Annie Kate was the daughter of Daniel Paul and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Claire Lingle Dooley, and a sister to Ezekiel Paul and Jocelyn Claire Dooley of Jackson.
She is also survived by her maternal Mimi, Denise Lingle, and Papa, Larry Craft; Great Papa, Chuck Lingle and wife, Barb; paternal Mawmaw, Lisa Dooley, and Pawpaw, Mitchell Dooley; Great Granny, Geneva Brown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, who already loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her Great-Great Nana, Francis Lingle; Great-Great Papa, Charles Lingle; Great-Great-Mawma, Laverne Givens; Great-Great Pawpa, Leroy Givens; Great Mimi, Teresa Lingle; Great Grandpa, Cody Brown; Great-Grandma, Betty Dooley; Great-Grandpa Larry Dooley; and Great-Grandpa Mert Mirly.
Those left behind grieve that they are not able to hold and nurture Annie Kate and watch her grow, but they take comfort in the fact that she is now in the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, and know they will someday be reunited in paradise.
Visitation is from noon to service time, Monday at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Interment is private.
