Annie Luvenia Jenkins, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at the Lutheran Home. She was born July 28, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Frank and Lydia Runnels. She married Fred L. Jenkins, who died in 1949. Survivors include three sons, Harold and Samuel Jenkins of Cape Girardeau, William Jenkins of Cleveland; two daughters, Charlotte Wade and Peggy Primm of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren...

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at St. James AME Church.

The funeral will be at noon Friday at the church, with the Rev. Debbie Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
