ANNIE BOLAN

SIKESTON -- Annie M. Bolan, 90, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, May 1, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Fayette, Ala., daughter of Jack and Mary Emma Harris Flynn. She and Calvin Newton Bolan were married April 27, 1940. He died Oct. 27, 1953.

Bolan attended Greater Works Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include a son, Allen Walden Sr. of Bruceton, Tenn.; four daughters, Sally Williams, Evelyn Andrews and Shirley Burgess of Sikeston, Gladys Reynolds of Rockford, Ill.; a stepson, Russell Bolan of Portageville; a sister, Avie Thompson of Memphis, Tenn.; 40 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, five daughters, a stepson, three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
