Anne Killian, 55, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 25, 1945, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Vain and Betty Belle Pixley Brannock. She and William Killian were married April 30, 1965, at Bethesda, Md.
Killian was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was past owner of Anne's Green Thumb. She was active in Marriage Encounter, the Women's Council at St. Vincent de Paul, the Mended Hearts support group at St. Francis Medical Center and the "We Can" support group at Southeast Hospital. She also served as a United States Navy Hospital Corpsman.
Survivors include her mother of Cape Girardeau; her husband of Cape Girardeau; two sons, John Killian of Chaffee and Michael Killian of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Diana Wahl of St. Louis; a brother, Kevin Brannock of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Revs. Milton Ryan and Dan Schulte officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
