MORTON, Ill. — Annalee Rose Manier passed peacefully in the arms of her parents Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. She was born at 1:58 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, and met the eyes of Jesus after 11 precious hours surrounded by family.
Annalee was the daughter of Jacob and Macy Shively Manier of Morton.
Left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents are maternal grandparents, Jeff and Jenny Shively of Benton, Missouri; paternal grandparents. Keith and Robbie Manier of Fenton, Missouri; uncles, Zach (Patrick Maroun) Manier of Miami, Tanner (Katie) Shively of Jackson, Dawson and Tate Shively of Benton; and aunt, Molly Shively of Benton; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Rose Shively of Shelbyville, Missouri, Leon and Janis Hennecke of Oran, Missouri, and Martin and Malinda Priggel of Oran; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Carolyn Kennedy of Fenton.
Annalee was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, Joseph and Bernice Manier, and recently by special family members, Uncle Marty Priggel, Aunt Missy Shively and Mama Emma Lu Dimmitt.
While Annalee's life on Earth was limited, her impact will be everlasting.
A tiny flower lent not given, to bud on Earth and bloom in Heaven.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Revs. Joseph Kelly and Bala Swamy Govindu and Deacon Tom Schumer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lifehouse Crisis Maternity Home through Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri.
