ANNA MAY STEWART

EAST PRAIRIE -- Anna May Stewart, 90, of East Prairie died Saturday, Dec. 15, 1990 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 17, 1900 in Wickliffe, Ky., daughter of Marion and Mary Leona Shanks Turner.

She lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church of East Prairie.

In 1956 she married Joel C. Stewart. He preceded her in death June 5, 1979.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

She is survived one daughter, Mary Self, Wyatt; one grandson, Jerry Wayne Self, Wyatt; three nephews and two nieces.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston with the Rev. David Bowden, pastor of First Christian Church, and the Rev. Tom Bridges, pastor of First Baptist Church of Wyatt.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
