Anna Blanche Masters, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1912, at Patton, daughter of Pinkney and Rella Clementine Seabaugh Brotherton. She and Elbert S. Masters were married Nov. 2, 1929. He died Jan. 28, 1984.
Masters operated Ann's Ladies and Children's Wear from 1956-61, and later operated Ann's Beauty Shop, both in Jackson.
She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 91. She had attended Good News Christian Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Ethel Weller, Faye Cunningham and Karen Stevenson of Cape Girardeau, Mary Lou McDowell of Jackson; three brothers, Cecil Brotherton of Jackson, John and Earl Brotherton of Patton; three sisters, Helen Cook of Cape Girardeau, Elsie Long of Patton, Daisy Hahs of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Seabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
