PERRYVILLE -- Anna Margaret Fairchild, 68, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1992, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1924, in Perry County, daughter of Harold and Sophia Lorenz Graff. She and Dr. James F. Fairchild were married Dec. 15, 1951.
Fairchild retired in August as a registered nurse at Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 133, AKA sorority, was active in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, and was a past president and member of Perry County District 32 School Board.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, James Fairchild of Columbia, Scott Fairchild of Allen, Texas, Peter Fairchild of Aiken, S.C., Andrew Fairchild of Belleville, Mich.; a daughter, Margaret Gebhardt of St. Louis; two brothers, Bill Graff of Shelbyville, Tenn., Dennis Graff of Farmington; three sisters, Lula Brinkman and Nelda Brown of St. Louis, Abigail Hotop of Mexico, Mo., and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jonathan Brown will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Friday, and 6:30-11 a.m. Saturday.
