EAST PRAIRIE -- Graveside service was conducted Saturday for Anna Lucille Hardin, 73, of Chesterfield, formerly of East Prairie.

The service was conducted at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery, with Brother David Dowdy, pastor of the St. James General Baptist Church of East Prairie officiating. Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie was in charge of arrangements.

Hardin died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994, at St. Lukes West Hospital in Chesterfield, of an extended illness.

She was born July 9, 1920 in Camden, Tenn., daughter of Bev and Edna Cooper Howell. She was of the Protestant denomination.

On July 7, 1972, she married Lenard Howard Hardin, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Bob Hardin of Fredericktown; one daughter, Shirley Mreen of Hazelwood; two brothers, James R. Davidson of Warrenton and Morris Lee Hardin of Mobile, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, one brother and one sister.
