JACKSON -- Anna L. Wright, 88, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, March 17, 1994, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1905, at Jackson, daughter of Wentzel and Sophie Fischer Nitsch.
She married Elmer Wright, Feb. 17, 1925.
Wright moved to Cape Girardeau in 1934 from Jackson.
She worked at the former International Shoe factories in Jackson and Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1959.
Wright has been a member of the St. Mary' Parish in Cape Girardeau since 1934. She has been in the nursing home since August 1992.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Harold Wright of Jackson; a daughter, Allene Reaves of Montrose, Colo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with Msgr. Edward F. Pink officiating.
Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
