Anna Katherine Grimm, 97, died Sunday, June 29, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 13, 1900, near Shelbyville, daughter of Henry and Anna Reinheimer Arnold. She and the Rev. Victor H. Grimm were married June 17, 1925, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death.

Grimm lived with her husband in Macon, Mo., Waldenburg, Ark., and Farley, Mo. In 1961, her husband retired from the Lutheran ministry, and they moved to Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the St. Andrew Lutheran Church and the Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors are two sons, Robert A. Grimm of Los Altos, Calif., and Stanley A. Grimm of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Donna K. Geiger of Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
