EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Anna Mae Hill of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Burl Britt and Howard Myers will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
Hill, 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 15, 1918, in Fulton, Miss., daughter of Henry and Betty Lou Duncan Rhyne. She and James Henry Hill were married Oct. 20, 1935. He died April 13, 1971.
Hill was a member of New Beginnings Church.
Survivors include two sons, James and J.B. Hill of East Prairie; five daughters, Betty Pepper of St. Louis, Nell Hudson of Advance, Ocell Hamilton of LaCenter, Ky., Sue Davis of Sikeston, July Hill of East Prairie; a half sister, Ledie Wilson of Culpepper, Va.; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, two half brothers, four half sisters and two grandsons.
