ANNA, Ill. -- Anna Lee Durbin, 66, of Anna died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.
She was born Nov. 3, 1939, at Lick Creek, Ill., daughter of George and Lorene Thornton Barringer. She and Fred N. Durbin Jr. were married Dec. 17, 1960. He died Sept. 8, 1991.
Durbin was a graduate of Southern Illinois University. She was a junior high teacher 39 years at Lick Creek School District. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Lick Creek.
Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Sharkey of Tampa, Fla., Dina Clover of Cobden, Ill.; a son, Daniel Durbin of Anna; her mother of Lick Creek; a sister, Patsy Griffith of Lick Creek; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andy Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery near Lick Creek.
