Anna Dillingham, 80, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 12, 1927, in Little Rock, Ark., daughter of Everett and Elma Craig Fitzgerald. She and Earl Kenneth "Buddy" Dillingham were married Dec. 16, 1944, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 19, 1987.
She was a member of Hobbs Chapel and was active with its vacation Bible school. She was a nurse's aid at Saint Francis Medical Center and also did domestic work for various families in Cape Girardeau. She also volunteered at First Presbyterian Church nursery.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Dillingham of Barnhardt, Mo., Steven Dillingham of Scott City, and Mark Dillingham of Atlanta; two daughters, Linda Bangert and Cindy Kemp, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ida Mae Lindsay of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.
Burial will be at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
