JACKSON -- Anna Belle Oldham, 85, of Jackson died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998, at Jackson Manor. She was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Bradford, Ark., daughter of Robert Bruce and Minnie Belle Kneal Adams. She and Charlie Mason Oldham were married April 15, 1933. He died May 1, 1972...

JACKSON -- Anna Belle Oldham, 85, of Jackson died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998, at Jackson Manor.

She was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Bradford, Ark., daughter of Robert Bruce and Minnie Belle Kneal Adams. She and Charlie Mason Oldham were married April 15, 1933. He died May 1, 1972.

Oldham was a cook in the Jackson School District many years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church at Burfordville and had served as secretary, clerk, Sunday School teacher, and director of children's department. She was involved with GAs, Women's Missionary Union, and had been director at Peaceful Valley Church Camp.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Oldham of Jackson, Jim Oldham of St. Louis; a daughter, Pat Stearns of Jackson; a stepson, William Oldham of Arlington, Va.; a brother, Robert Adams of Kellerton, Iowa; a sister, Betty Sharp of Rolling Hills, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren; and four great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, a stepgrandson, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Morris Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
