ANNA B. WELKER

PERRYVILLE -- Anna B. Welker, 88, of Perryville, died Friday, April 21, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born April 25, 1906, in Perry County, daughter of Henry W. and Theresa Baer Buchheit. She and Joseph A. Welker were married April 26, 1928. He died Nov. 1, 1985.

Welker was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek.

Survivors include four sons, James, Thomas, Donald and Francis Welker of Perryville; three daughters, Margaret Wibbenmeyer, Dorothy Versheldon and Helen Buerck, all of Perryville; six sisters, Philomena Toye of Boston, Mass., Gertrude Welker and Mary Ann Rellergert of Perryville, Rose Buerck and Laura Buerck of St. Louis, Regina Zoellner of Biehle; four brothers, Louis and Urban Buchheit of St. Louis, August Buchheit of Perryville, Edgar Buchheit of Jackson; 30 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Revs. Kevin Fausz and John Bolderson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery at Apple Creek.
