Ann Crites

Ann Elizabeth Crites, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at her home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to Lawrence W. and Bessie J. Allen Fuhrmann.

She and Edward "Bud" Crites were married Feb. 14, 1960, at First Christian Church. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 2017.

Ann was past president of Ramblewood Garden Club, Cape Girardeau Council of Garden Club and a past matron of Cape Rock Chapter No. 60-OES.

She was a member of Abbey Road Christian Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Brad) Figliolo and Jennifer (Joe) McLemore, both of Cape Girardeau; and a great-granddaughter, Makenzie Figliolo.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

There will be a private graveside service at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be given to Southeast Missouri Pets.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
