Ann D. Brookman, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at Auburn Creek in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 4, 1949, in St. Louis to Joseph R. and Clara Wulfers Davis. She and Gordon Brookman were married Nov. 3, 1972, at Greenville, Missouri.

She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1967.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Ann had been a team member of RCIA at St. Vincent's and also many other church organizations. She was a board member of Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation and was a past president of Southeast Missouri Homebuilders.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon Brookman of Union Fork, Virginia; three brothers, Tim (Sherrie) Davis of Jackson, Matt (Rhonda) Davis of Collierville, Tennessee, and J. George (Lori) Davis of Cape Girardeau; and a stepson, Michael Brookman of Union Fork. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dan Davis; and a stepdaughter, Terri Stuart.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, with parish prayers at 7 p.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Ron Hoye, C.M., officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
