Ann Garnell Amos, 67, of Scott City died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 20, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Frank and Florence Elaine King Briggen. She and Curtis Ronald Amos were married July 1, 1955. He died Dec. 1, 1995.
Amos was employed by SEMO Carpet Cleaning.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Amos of Wickliffe, Ky., Carl Amos of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Charlotte Thomas and Barbara Szepanski of Scott City, Lisa Sexton of Cape Girardeau, Marie Kranawetter of Gordonville; a brother, William Briggen Jr. of St. Louis; two sisters, Pat O'Kelly of Cape Girardeau, Judy Stanley of Scott City; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Mark Fisher and the Rev. Don Seabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
