ANITA PENNINGTON

CHAFFEE -- Anita K. Pennington, 46, of Chaffee died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 17, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Paul and Gladys Mae Day Eifert Jr. She and Michael R. Pennington were married June 10, 1972.

Pennington was a 1970 graduate of Chaffee High School, and attended Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis.

She was an operating room technician for Dr. Greg Tobin in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, and Associated Surgical Technologists.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Craig Pennington of Kelso, Ryan Pennington of Chaffee; her parents of Chaffee; a brother, Ronald Eifert of Chaffee; three sisters, Barbara Weinrich of Fort Wayne, Ind., Alice Schultz of Cordova, Tenn., Diana Felker of Jackson; and a grandson.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
