DEXTER -- Anita L. Fortner, 39, of O'Fallon died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at her home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1960, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Carl and Delcie Lee Hesselbein. She and Jeffery Fortner were married Oct. 9, 1987, in Memphis, Tenn.
Fortner was a receptionist at H.R. Block. She moved to O'Fallon 15 years ago from St. Peters.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kelli and Krystal Fortner of O'Fallon; two stepsons, Jonathan and Jamie Fortner of Dallas, Texas; her parents of Dexter; three brothers, Forrest Hesselbein of O'Fallon, Timothy Hesselbein of Eureka, and Brian Hesselbein of St. Peters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
