On Nov. 19, 2010, our precious angel, Anistyn Riylee Babcock-Sweeney, left to be with our Lord in heaven. At the gates she was met by her great-grandpa Babcock and her loving uncles Barry and Ray Ashby. They are now caring for her, smiling with her, and they are all watching over Vanessa and her family.

Anistyn was born to Vanessa Babcock and David Sweeney on Nov. 3, 2010. Her family celebrated her arrival on that day. In her short life, she brought so much joy to everyone who came in her presence. Those that didn't get to meet her could see the sparkle in her eyes through pictures and could feel how special she was through the voices of those who knew her. She couldn't talk, but with her eyes she said it all. During her short time with us, and in her passing, she taught us the true meaning of life and reminded us all what is important.

She is survived by her sister Hayden Sweeney of Cape Girardeau; her maternal grandmother and grandfather, Don and Sherry Babcock of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandparents Edonna and Marcus Sides of Fruitland; maternal great-grandparents Buck and Ginny Ashby of North Carolina, maternal great-grandmother Elsie Babcock of Flower Mound, Texas; Aunt Lora and Uncle Travis Stalford of Coffeeville, Kan., Aunt Jessica Babcock of Fleming, Colo.; Uncle Wes of North Platte, Neb.; and Aunt Jocelyn Babcock of Merriam, Kan.

Memorials in Anistyn's name can be made to the Commemorative Tree Program of Cape Girardeau Parks Development Foundation at 410 Kiwanis Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. Alternatively, memorials in Anistyn's name can be made to SIDS Resources Inc. by phone at 800-421-3511.
