MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Angelyn Arminta "Penny" Shell of Marble Hill will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
Shell, 77, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 30, 1918, in Watson, Ark., daughter of John W. and Alpha Mae Rose Neal. She and Lester William Shell were married March 15, 1940. He died April 2, 1979.
Shell was a member of Marble Hill First Baptist Church and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Lester Shell Jr. and Adrian Shell of Advance, John Shell of Delta, La.; a daughter, Donna Huff of Benton; two sisters, Joy Yarbrough and Kathryn Noverase of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, four sisters and three grandchildren.
