Angela Smith

BLODGETT, Mo. -- Angela Marie Smith, 33, of Blodgett died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at her home.

She was born Sept. 10, 1981, in St. Louis, to Roger Keith and Vivian Hester Whitener. She and Reuben William Smith were married Sept. 9, 1997.

Angela was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband, Reuben; her mother, Vivian Thurman of St. Louis; five children, Brandon, Ben, Brittany and Sophia Smith and Quinton Lara, all of the home; paternal grandparents, T.C. and Lorene Whitener of St. Louis; two brothers, Aaron Whitener and Jeremiah Thurman of St. Louis; three sisters, Lani Whitener of South Carolina and Andrea Whitener and Danielle Finks of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Unity Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill, Missouri.
