SCOPUS, Mo. -- Angela Elaine Brice, 51, of Scopus passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Southeast Hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1970 in Keosauqua, Iowa, to the Rev. James and Susan Mitchell Brice. She lived near her parents in Scopus and was of the United Methodist faith. She attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and worked as a nanny for several years...

SCOPUS, Mo. -- Angela Elaine Brice, 51, of Scopus passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Nov. 22, 1970 in Keosauqua, Iowa, to the Rev. James and Susan Mitchell Brice.

She lived near her parents in Scopus and was of the United Methodist faith. She attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and worked as a nanny for several years.

Angela was a big supporter of Franklin Graham's organization, Samaritan's Purse. She put together over 1,100 Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child that went all over the world. She did every one with loving care. Angela supported many other charities such as veterans and Indian missions.

Angela loved animals, children, flowers, trees and birds. She loved her miniature dachshunds, Esther, Nehemiah, Rose and Hannah. She enjoyed watching and feeding the wilds birds and had a pair of pet doves.

She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing. She is singing with the angels.

Angela loved the Lord and wanted all her family members and friends to know Jesus as their savior. Her family knows she is enjoying family, friends and pets in heaven now and all the beauty of heaven.

Angela is survived by her parents; her sister, Melissa (Don) Mastri of Benton, Illinois; uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jerry; aunt, Pat, and grandparents.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday with her father, the Rev. James Brice, officiating. Burial will be at Cook Cemetery in Scopus.

Memorial contributions may be given to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
