Before Andrew was born the Lord knew him and all his days were planned. God loved Andrew so much that He gave His one and only Son so that when Andrew asked Jesus to be his Savior Feb. 23, 1997, God gave Andrew eternal life.

Andrew fought the good fight. He lay down his sword and received his crown Oct. 27, 2004. We grieve our loss while rejoicing in his victory.

Born Jan. 21, 1992, Andrew is the son of Ed and Rebecca Breeden Tyler of Jackson. He is Hannah's big brother. Andrew is the grandson of Jim and Seiko Tyler of Jackson and Charles and Blanch Breeden of Sikeston, Mo.

Recorded in his mother's Bible is a conversation Andrew had with her May 18, 1998. Andrew told his mom, "I wish I could have always been made. I would have told everybody about Jesus. I want everybody to go to heaven."

Andrew was not afraid to step into eternity because he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Andrew wanted everybody to go to heaven and you can. All you have to do is ask.

"Dear God, I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He died on the cross for me and is alive today. I know I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sin. Please forgive me and come live in me as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for hearing me. In Jesus' name, Amen."

A victory celebration honoring Andrew's life and his eternal homecoming will be held at Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. Friends may call at the church Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 1 p.m. Saturday until service begins at 2. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Holt International Children's Services, P.O. Box 2880, Eugene, Ore., 97402-0375, or the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
