PERKINS -- Andrew Russell Standley, 69, of Perkins, died Monday, March 8, 1993, at his home.
He was born June 14, 1923, at Perkins, son of Charles Franklin and Hazel Idalene Marcus Standley. He and Ruth Ann German Pirtle were married April 10, 1981.
Standley was a retired sanitation worker. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; an adopted daughter, Cheryl Baity of Salem, Ill.; two stepsons, Raimus Yates of Perkins, Henry Yates of Bell City; three stepdaughters, Nadine Seabourne of Cape Girardeau, Uvonka Hale of Springfield, Emily Adams of Bell City; three sisters, Norma Fitzgerald and Verble Bumgardner of Oran, Violet Moore of Chaffee, and nine stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Missionary Baptist Church here. The Revs. Robert Francis and Doyle Stogsdill will officiate, with burial in Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
