Andrew Montgomery, 82, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2020, peacefully at his home.
He was born May 1, 1938, to John Montgomery and Beulah Mae Tanner in Wardell Missouri. Andy was one of eight children.
He served our country in the U.S. Air Force.
His hobbies were hunting and fishing and he was an avid book reader.
Andy left behind a spouse, Sherry A. Bryant Montgomery; children, Amy (Henry III) Sanders and Andrew (Michelle) Montgomery; grandchildren, Domini Montgomery, Tyler Montgomery, Jake Chavis, Justin Chavis and Jacy Ann Chavis; great-grandchildren, Vivian Montgomery and Peyton O'Leary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings, Lela Aldrich and Warren (Gail) Montgomery.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Cleo Atwood, Janice Dial and Beth McDonald; and brothers, John Montgomery and Mike Montgomery.
Due to COVID-19, there will not be a service.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
