ORAN -- Funeral Mass for Andrew "Nunnie" Miller, Oran Route 1, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran is in charge of arrangements.
Miller, 88, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner.
He was born Sept. 1, 1909, at Oran, son of Edward and Caroline Kielhafner Miller. He and Dorothy Mae Monan were married in 1945. She died Aug. 1, 1997.
Miller had been a mail carrier with Oran Post Office. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Joseph Sodality. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Jean Williams of Morrilton, Ark.; five stepgrandchildren; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and six sisters.
