Andrew McCain, 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1993 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 18, 1908, at Neelys Landing, the son of Robert McCain and Bertha Hargraves McCain. He worked for the city of Cape Girardeau street department for a number of years.
Survivors include a daughter, Wilma McCain of Cape Girardeau; two brothers Alfred McCain of Tamms, Ill., Robert McCain of Thebes, Ill., and one sister, Sylvia Edwards of Tulsa, Okla.
Five brothers preceded him in death.
On July 17, 1937, he married Millie O'Howell in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death July 8, 1986.
He was a member of the Faith Baptist Temple where he was the senior deacon.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with the Rev. Jack Mann and the Rev. Ron Green officiating.
Burial will follow at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call today from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
