JACKSON -- Andrew "Andy" Kinder, 87, of Jackson, died Monday, Jan. 31, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 8, 1906, at Millersville, son of Robert Frances and Emily Jane Runnels Kinder. He and Alma LeGrand were married Oct. 3, 1945, in Arkansas.

Kinder owned and operated Kinder's Ole Time Deli more than 40 years. He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, and Excelsior Lodge 441 AF&AM of Jackson.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David D. Kinder of Cape Girardeau, Jerry W. Kinder of Fredericktown, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
