Andrew C. "Andy" Kilhafner, 93, of Jackson died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Monticello House at Jackson.
He was born July 17, 1911, at New Hamburg, Mo., son of Louis and Caroline Schott Kilhafner. He and Mary C. Masters were married Nov. 26, 1933. She died Nov. 24, 2001, and was laid to rest on Nov. 26, on their 68th wedding anniversary.
Kilhafner was a bus driver for St. Louis-Cape Bus Line for 33 years, retiring in 1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Buhs and son-in-law Elmer O. Buhs of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Susan Kay Davis and Steven Ray Buhs of Cape Girardeau, Michael David Buhs of Hawaii; five great-grandchildren, Meg Davis, Rick and Rob Davis, Michael and Betty Buhs, of Cape Girardeau; and one sister, Bertha "Toots" Ahrens of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
The funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with burial in Cape County Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Parish prayers at 7 p.m.
