TAMMS, Ill. -- Andrew Collins, 49, of Tamms, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born Aug. 22, 1946, at Rehova, Ala., son of Andrew and Katie Short Collins. He was a Navy veteran and had lived at the H&S Care Center in Tamms for the past eight years...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Andrew Collins, 49, of Tamms, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Aug. 22, 1946, at Rehova, Ala., son of Andrew and Katie Short Collins.

He was a Navy veteran and had lived at the H&S Care Center in Tamms for the past eight years.

Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.

A graveside funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Mound City National Cemetery, with the Rev. John Hinman officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
