PERRYVILLE - Aloysius N. Esselman, 90, of Perryville, died Saturday, Oct. 23, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1903, in Perry County, to George and Lavina Riney Esselman. He and Ida L. Martens were married in Claryville, on Jan. 22, 1924. She survives.
Esselman was a retired self-employed electrician, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Perryville.
Survivors include four daughters, Loretta C. Tidwell of Bela Vista, Ark.; Irma A. Esselman, Lenita T. Renner, and Jeanette D. Sutterer, all of Perryville. Other survivors include two sisters, Frances Brewer and Coletta Regelsperger, both of Perryville. Ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m., today, at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m., today.
The funeral mass will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
