CAIRO, Ill. -- Amy Ent, 94, of Cairo died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Daystar Care Center.
She was born Dec. 31, 1910, in St. Louis, daughter of Christian and Emma Gebhard Miltenberger. She married Dr. Lewis S. Ent, who preceded her in death.
Ent received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois.
She lived in Cairo 70 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Cairo Library Board, and Magnolia Manor Patrons Club of the Cairo Historical Society, and was involved with various civic organizations.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Morrison of Glenview, Ill.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and a sister.
There is no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Kelly Cox officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
