BELL CITY, Mo. -- Amos Peter "Buddy" Eilers, 57, of Bell City died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 24, 1947, in St. Louis, son of Amos and Pauline Abney Eilers. He and Regina Coleman were married Jan. 24, 1970, in St. Louis.

Eilers retired as a sanitation supervisor with Hudson Foods in Bloomfield, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Adam Eilers of Bloomfield; two daughters, Lois Eilers of Scott City, Amy Eilers of Bell City; his mother of Hillsboro, Mo.; two brothers, Charlie and Warren Eilers of Hillsboro; three sisters, Kathy Pryor of High Ridge, Mo., Mary Kite and Paulette Montgomery of Hillsboro; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sons.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Advance.
