COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Alyce Fly of Cobden will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Cobden, with the Rev. Richard Ryman officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Carbondale.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Fly, 86, died Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Aug. 12, 1908, at Ewing, daughter of Milton Chalon and Alyce Gill Ingram. She and John Raymond Fly were married March 17, 1929. He died Oct. 21, 1976.
Fly owned and operated Alyce Fly Dress Shop in Carbondale, retiring in 1970. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, William Fly of Highland Park, John Fly of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Gladys Webb of LaDue, Mo.; a brother, Carl Ingram of Ewing; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
