SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Funeral Mass for Alvina M. Haase of Jasper, Ind., was held Aug. 29, 2000, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Jasper.
Becher and Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper was in charge of arrangements.

Haase, 91, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at Heritage House in Jasper.
She was born at Ancell, Mo., daughter of William and Elizabeth Seyer Blattel. She and Albert Haase were married Aug. 23, 1927. He died Dec. 26, 1983.
Haase was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene and Carmon "Pete" Haase of Jasper; a daughter, Mary Lou Brain of Bedford, Ind.; three sisters, Clara Stemle and Virginia Mehringer of Jasper, Dorothy Miller of Scott City; two brothers, Paul Blattel of Scott City, Leon Blattel of Cape Girardeau; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a sister and a brother.
