Alvin "A.W." McFall, 74, of Missouri Veterans Home, died there Sunday, Oct. 30, 1994.
He was born Oct. 23, 1920, at Vanduser, son of George W. and Gertrude McDaniel McFall. He and Wanda Lee McClain were married in 1952.
McFall retired in 1982 as a switchboard repairman with GTE in Genoa, Ill. He was a member of VFW Post 3838. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of Plumerville, Ark.; two brothers, Gendron McFall of Scott City and John McFall of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Old Morley Cemetery at Morley, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
