MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Alvin Bernard Jansen, 64, of Marietta, Ga., died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at a veterans home in Georgia.
He was born March 5, 1940, at Leopold, Mo., son of Lewis and Gertrude Vandeven Jansen. He and Theresa Blankenship were married April 7, 1973.
Jansen retired as a CPA with the U.S. government. He was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Kimberly Johnson, Jennifer, Megan and Angelique Jansen, Courtney Motley; two sons, Bradley and Colin Jansen; three brothers, Ronald Jansen of Leopold, Dave Jansen of Scopus, Mo., Tom Jansen of Marble Hill; four sisters, Paulette Cook of Scopus, Judy Looney of Perryville, Mo., Geralyn Eeftink of Leopold, Ruth Vangennip of Marble Hill; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta.
