ALVIN J. ZOELLNER

PERRYVILLE -- Alvin J. Zoellner, 90, of Perryville died Jan. 18, 1997, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center in Perryville.

He was born May 11, 1906, at Biehle to Anton Zoellner and Theresa Hotop Zoellner.

On Oct. 16, 1928, he married Irene H. Unterreiner, who died April 23, 1982.

He had been a concrete finisher before retiring.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville, the Holy Name Society and MFA. He was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church in Biehle for 30 years prior to moving to Perryville.

Survivors include one daughter, LaVerne Tucker of Perryville; one sister, Esther Baudendistel of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today and 6:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake service is today at 6 p.m. The rosary will be recited 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Biehle. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
