SIKESTON -- Alvin G. House, 76, of Sikeston died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at his home.
He was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Lepanto, Ark., son of Frank and Fronea Brazelton House.
House had lived in Charleston most of his life, where he worked at McBride Cooperage Co. and Rolwing Moxley Co.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include two sisters, Ernestine Chandler of Bertrand, and Frances Green of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Nichols officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
